IIT Madras Zanzibar, the international campus of the famous Indian Institute of Technology Madras, has launched a new four-year undergraduate course in Chemical Process Engineering. This full-time Bachelor of Science (BS) programme is open to students of all nationalities, including Indian students.
About the Course
The programme combines core knowledge of chemical engineering with practical lab sessions, interdisciplinary electives, and industry-focused projects. It also includes training in data science, sustainability, and energy, preparing students for global careers.

Who Can Apply?
Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in one of the following:

The course will be taught by expert professors from IIT Madras, IITM Zanzibar, and partner institutions. It includes a capstone project with local industry partners, giving students hands-on experience.
