IIT Madras Zanzibar Starts New Undergraduate Course in Chemical Process Engineering

Introduction

Expanding its global footprint in engineering education, IIT Madras Zanzibar the first international campus of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras has launched a new four-year Bachelor of Science (BS) program in Chemical Process Engineering.

The program aims to provide students with a strong foundation in chemical engineering concepts, along with hands-on industry exposure and interdisciplinary learning. Applications are open to students from all nationalities, including India, until July 6, 2025.
