The CBSE Board Exams 2025 started successfully on February 15, with Class 10 English and Class 12 Entrepreneurship as the first papers. Over 42 lakh students from more than 30,000 schools are appearing for the exams this year. The exams are being held across 7,842 centres in India and 26 other countries under strict security measures.
Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, confirmed that everything went smoothly on the first day. "The Class 10 English exam took place at 7,780 centres with over 23.86 lakh students, while the Class 12 Entrepreneurship exam was held at 995 centres with around 23,000 students," he said.
To ensure a fair and stress-free exam process, CBSE set strict rules for all centres. Schools were given clear guidelines to maintain discipline and security. A day before the exams, CBSE also held a live webinar for school principals in Delhi-NCR. The session was led by CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh and Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, with Dr. Antriksh Johri, Director (IT) CBSE, giving a vote of thanks.
CBSE assured students that they are committed to conducting the exams fairly and efficiently. They encouraged students to stay confident, prepared, and focused.
As the exams continue, CBSE advises students to check official notifications on its website for any updates. The board remains focused on ensuring a smooth and disciplined exam process for all students.
