Kanpur, December 23, 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, the organizing institute for JEE Advanced 2025, has announced the examination schedule and released the information brochure for the prestigious engineering entrance exam. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam is scheduled for May 18, 2025, with registration beginning on April 23 and closing on May 2. Candidates can pay the application fee until May 5, and admit cards will be available for download starting May 11.
The exam will be conducted in two sessions:
Paper 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Paper 2: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Candidates with at least 40% disability (PwD) will receive compensatory time during the examination.
Eligibility and Fee Details
The exam is open to candidates born on or after October 1, 2000, with a 5-year age relaxation for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Application fees are structured as follows:
Female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates: ₹1,600
Other candidates: ₹3,200
Foreign nationals:
SAARC countries: USD 200
Non-SAARC countries: USD 100
Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2025
The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2025, for candidates seeking admission to the BArch programme at select IITs, will be held on June 5, 2025. Only candidates who qualify for JEE Advanced are eligible to register for AAT, with registration open from June 2 to June 3. Candidates must carry their JEE Advanced admit card for the AAT examination.
