The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the stray round registration for NEET PG 2024 counselling. A total of 733 seats are available in this round. Eligible candidates can apply on the official website (mcc.nic.in) until March 8.
Important Dates:
- March 8: Last date for registration
- March 10: Choice-filling and locking starts
- March 10-11: Seat allotment process
- March 12: Final seat allotment results
- March 20: Last date to report to allotted institutes
The selection process will be based on seat availability, previous cut-off trends, and other factors. Candidates who get a seat must report to their allotted institute by March 20 for document verification.
Cut-off Lowered for Maximum Seat Utilization
To prevent seats from remaining vacant, MCC has lowered the NEET PG 2024 cut-off percentile to the 5th percentile. This decision follows orders from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
Earlier this year, the NEET PG counselling cut-off was revised:
- General and EWS category candidates needed 15 percentile and above to qualify.
- SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates needed 10 percentile and above.
In previous years, the cut-off was also reduced to allow more candidates to participate in counselling.
How to Apply
Candidates must complete their registrations before the deadline and keep checking the MCC’s official website (mcc.nic.in) for updates.
