Are NIOS Students Eligible for NEET UG 2025?
Yes, students from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) can appear for NEET UG 2025, according to a response from the National Medical Commission (NMC) to an RTI query. However, if an NIOS student takes an additional subject, they must study it from an authorised institution.
This clarification comes after confusion over the NEET UG 2025 information bulletin. The NTA has confirmed that the official guidelines follow NMC rules.
