The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced changes to the question paper pattern and examination duration for NEET (UG) 2025. These changes mark a return to the pre-COVID format, effective for the upcoming examination.
Key Highlights:
- No Section B: The optional Section B, introduced during the pandemic, has been removed.
- 180 Questions: The question paper will now have 180 compulsory questions:
- 45 questions each in Physics and Chemistry.
- 90 questions in Biology.
- 3-Hour Duration: Candidates will have a total of 180 minutes (3 hours) to complete the exam.
This change eliminates the flexibility of optional questions and extra time that had been provided during the COVID-19 period.
