Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared words of encouragement for students appearing for board exams in his latest episode of Mann Ki Baat. He advised students to stay positive, approach their exams with confidence, and avoid stress.
PM Modi said that exams should be seen as an opportunity rather than a burden. He also spoke about Pariksha Pe Charcha, his annual interactive session with students. This year, the event included eight episodes featuring experts discussing topics like exam preparation, health, mental well-being, and nutrition. Previous toppers also shared their experiences to motivate students.
Wildlife Conservation Efforts
Apart from discussing exams, PM Modi highlighted India's efforts in wildlife conservation. He praised the deep connection between Indian culture and nature, mentioning how animals like tigers and lions are worshipped in traditions. He appreciated the role of tribal communities in protecting wildlife, citing the Soliga tribe in Karnataka’s BRT Tiger Reserve and locals in Gujarat’s Gir region for their efforts in conserving tigers and Asiatic lions.
PM Modi also shared the inspiring story of Anuradha Rao, known as 'The Deer Woman' of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. She has been protecting deer and peacocks for over 30 years, earning respect from the local community.
Fighting Against Obesity
The Prime Minister also spoke about the rising obesity problem in India. He recently nominated well-known personalities, including Anand Mahindra, Shreya Ghosal, and Sudha Murthy, to spread awareness about reducing edible oil consumption. He encouraged them to nominate 10 more people to expand the movement.
As board exams continue across the country, PM Modi’s message to students was clear – stay happy, be confident, and don’t fear exams.
